Newton Peripherals, the developer of the MoGo family of ultra-portable products, today announced an addition to its MoGo product line: the US$89.99 MoGo Presenter Mouse. It’s a business-card-sized mouse that stores and charges inside your laptop computer’s PC Card slot (assuming, of course, it has one—and MacBooks and MacBook Airs don’t).
The MoGo Presenter Mouse offers the same functionality of conventional optical wireless mice—scroll, right click, left click in a sleek design. With the push of a button the MoGo Presenter Mouse PC converts into a wireless presenter remote so that you can control PowerPoint presentations—advance slides, start/escape and blank screens, etc.—from 30 feet away.
The MoGo Presenter Mouse folds flat and slips completely into the PC/PMCIA slot, when not in use. Designed to recharge while stores in the slot, you don’t have to carry cables or batteries. When you’re ready to use the mouse slide it out to the slot, flip out the kickstand on the back of the device and it slips into the hand.
