imageThink that the impending holiday season is slowing down Mac User Groups? Think again, as evidenced by the TheMUG Event Calendar.

The MacNotables panel of Adam and Tonya Engst and Chuck Joiner will present virtually to an Ohio Group, and author and Mac expert Joe Kissell will visit a student group in Massachusetts. MacReviewCast personality Tim Verpoorten will visit a California group, and at that same meeting, Greg Scown of Smile On My Mac will show off the latest version of PDFpen.

Software developer Norbert Doerner will visit two different Arizona groups to show off his program CDFinder, and Adobe and Avid will visit a California FCP group. Other topics on this week’s agenda include more holiday parties, dinners and an auction, iPhoto, web security, iWeb, Keynote, Logic Express and Pro, gift ideas, Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 and more.

“The MUG Event Calendar” can be found at The MUG Center, an online resource for Mac User Groups. MUGs are good places for making new friends in the Mac community, improving your computing skills, finding solutions to technical problems, and perhaps locating a good deal on used hardware. For more info on MUGs, and to find the location of the one nearest you, go to Apple’s MUG page.
