Video Sandbox 116: Too Weird

imageI’m sure some viewers must be Republicans. Statistically, the odds would bear me out. So please answer me this: What are you smoking and where can I get some?

I mean you guys have us loin cloth deep in FUD. A Marxist!? Comparisons between Obama and Hitler!? (OK, I’ll give you this much – they were both bipeds and could shoot well from the top of the key.)

You’re betting on the stupidity of Americans (Married with Children, aside). I think the upper middle class has had enough of this dog-n-pony show.

Not that I’m into Democrats, but I quote the remarks that brought about the downfall of Sen. McCarthy—” ... have you no shame?”

I had to rant. Sorry. I know you would like to learn more about my foray into midtown Manhattan at midnight Friday. Perhaps next time.

Onto this week’s episode, brought to you by Gold Bond Medicated Powder and Arrow Mill’s Wheat Flour. Please do not confuse the two.

We start with a scientific event involving fast food, a visit from the Reverend Doctor Bobby Newton, the lilting voice of Miss South Carolina (admit it, it’s hypnotic – in fact, I’d like to see her and Sarah Palin compete in Double Jeopardy) and the musings of a man known only as Dennis.

Plus two contests. There’s only one 26 CD left. Just answer the question – “What is ‘routing’ slang for in Australia. Hint: it’s a bit rude.

Also, send your Mac questions to the Reverend and if he feels that your Mac is in need of salvation, he’ll send you an official “The Church of Mac” coffee mug. The Pope has one. And they’re individually blessed by Steve.

Oops! Mama’s callin’! Must be Prince spaghetti night! See you on the show.
